I've used this rod with 1/4 and 3/8oz Mini Max, Stealth, and Custom Chatterbaits so far, with great results. It's taper allows for very far casts, but it has enough power to set the hook at the end of a long cast to set the hook. It's light weight, and has a comfortable handle. I really like the feel of the rod while fishing. I've caught lots of fish on it, and it's handled them beautifully. No issues at all with it.
