Have 5 of these, work great on any bait you are throwing overhand and looking for effortless distance. Reel is incredibly smooth. Crankbaits, Jerkbaits, chatter, swimbaits ..... very nice reel
I’ve been using this reel for a few months now and it’s fantastic. Even as someone that’s pretty good with a bait caster, this thing allows you to make every cast imaginable without incident. I usually keep the setting on 2 with 10-12lbs flouro for my jerkbaits and I’ve never had the first problem with a backlash. This includes even casting into a 15-25 mph wind for most of one day. If you have the means, I would definitely pick one up. My only drawback, and it’s a small one, is that the reel is a little heavier than most reels in this price range.
