Technology
3 DotTM, 2 layer coated fabric, creating an incredibly waterproof, windproof and breathable protective shell. Fully taped seams for a waterproof seal. Coated moisture-management fabric technology with a durable water repellent outer finish.

As a bass fisherman, I have owned many variations of rain gear for fishing over the years. This year, I was not going to go through another cold, windy and wet winter without a quality set of rain gear. After searching the web I came across the Gill FG2 Tournament gear on sale here on American Legacy. Then, I searched the reviews. What I found was all favorable reviews. So, I decided to order a set. The gear is built to a very high level of quality. There are many features that that Gill has provided , that I would never have thought of that make a big difference in comfort while tournament fishing. I am 6' 2" and 225lbs. I ordered the 2xl jacket and 2xl pants. The jacket fits great and the double closure sleeves keeps the water out. At my height and weight I probably could have gotten the XL, based off the 2XL size. But still no complaints. The one note that I have regarding the pants is that the legs are long. Long enough that in a kneeled position they do not ride above your boots. Which is nice not to have water in your boots, but could be a problem if you are on the shorter side.

Wrong product sent initially, quickly taken care of !! Gill tournament rain gear needs no review, it is simply the best, period.
Replaced my Columbia rain suit with the Gill. Very pleased with design, quality and price. It performed as needed.
