A nice small river trout rod. Designed for light line, it fishes really well with six-pound test. The 7'2" length affords longer casts, which makes it nice when distance is an issue. It has sufficient backbone to handle shad and even small bonefish if you're the type that likes a real challenge. Thanks to our proprietary "fiber blend technology" this rod is light and very responsive. This is as good as a trout can get!

Love the rod. Very light and well balanced. Casts very well and has a good enough back bone for larger trouts but has a very sensitive tip. Has a very good bend which makes fighting fish fun. American has great service 10/10 retailer
