A nice, long one-piece spinning rod that can protect light line and still handle a big trout. It's a great choice for fishing small spoons and spinners in larger streams where you need a little more line & lure control. It will double nicely for fishing deep clear water for crappies and bluegills.

I bought two of these rods as birthday gifts for my brothers. They used them initially for Crappie, but they soon were catching lots of Smallmouth (up to 4 lbs.) and the rods handled that with ease. It has become their favorite go to rod for panfish and bass. It's incredibly light and the tip telegraphs even the slightest finesse bites. I think that I'm going to have to buy one for myself :)
