A super light and incredibly sensitive ultra-light rod for fishing small trout. It's optimal with 2-pound line, but will handle 4-pound, no problem. It has enough power to handle surprisingly large trout, but not in heavy current or big water. You can fish a small jig or spoon with this rod effectively, but it's ideal for fishing single eggs when the bite is light. A great little rod for fishing spooky fish in clear water.
