I do not own any Loomis rod, specifically NRX or NRX plus. What i can say is this rod does not fish like the typically pole cue heavy rod. It is light, responsive, and yes you do feel everything on the bottom. Pair it up with a light reel and you will be happy. Dobbyns warranty is second to none.
