This is a great spinning rod for light Texas rigged worms, shaky heads and dropshots. I caught my pb 5.78lb bass on this rod on a dropshot and it handled that fish very well and didn't feel overpowered in the least. Nice amount of sensitivity with a noticable improvement over the Fury line, good fast action for setting the hook, with a great tip for casting and nice cork and guides. The Dobyn's Sierra series is a great line with great balance, sensitivity, action for a reasonable price and I'd also recommend the Sierra 692/702 if you like a little lighter power rod for dropshots and tossing some lighter lures.
