This is a combination of Gary Dobyns playing with new materials and our customers asking for full handle casting rods and slightly faster actions. The Kaden Series was actually "fish tested" for several months by Dobyns customers.

After using this rod for a while now it is a really fine rod. I have used it for multiple applications, pitching jigs, soft baits, and Carolina rigs, and it has performed flawlessly.
The rod was the size and action I was looking for, very light and sensitive. I was however surprised at how rough feeling the blank was. I would have given it a 5 star review but I am somewhat concerned if this will affect the strength of the rod. I really hope not. Maybe after I catch a large fish with it I can give a further update.
As for ALF&O the rod arrived quickly and was packaged great as always. It was also a great price.
