To achieve ultra-low spool vibration and maximize casting distance, the Antares 100 B integrates two cutting-edge technologies: the MGL Spool IV and the SVS Infinity braking system. The MGL Spool IV's new reverse-taper design addresses line winding issues that often cause unbalanced spool rotation and vibration. The SVS Infinity system uses internal centrifugal force to adjust the braking based on spool speed — applying more resistance at the start of the cast and less as the cast progresses.
